From the book Railway Ghosts and Highway Horrors by Daniel Cohen, and as narrated by storyteller Barnabas Deimos, comes this thrilling retelling of a tale from the desolate highways of the United States.  Prior to reading the story in this book, I had never heard this particular tale, which revolves around a truck driver who visits a diner late at night which seems oddly out of place.  If you enjoy the story, buy the book – there are a lot of gems in this great book by Daniel Cohen, which I’ve personally had on my shelf since grammar school.  You won’t be sorry you spent the couple of bucks to get a copy while they still exist.

“Stories about ghosts and phantoms haunting highways and railroad crossings. Some classic stories and a few you’re not likely to have heard before. The stories are great, but if you have an active imagination like myself – there will be no driving at night by yourself after reading it! You’ll end up spooking yourself! Definitely worth the couple bucks it costs.”
