I have always loved the horror genre. From terrifying gore ridden scenes, to the unnerving normalcy where things are simply not right. From the touchy-feely emotional horrors of every day to the gobsmacking absurd and bizarre. I pull writing inspiration a bit from everywhere, but mostly use my own nightmares and imagination. Also folklore and persistent sleep paralysis (with its hallucinations) have a pretty big hand in it, too. As for narrations, I draw inspiration most from a lot of different music artists and actors as well as everyday people, most notably Diamanda Galas, Doug Bradley, Robert Englund and my old choir teacher. I’d always been told I had a great voice but never believed anyone. I still don’t think I do, but the amiable encouragement and constructive criticisms a lot of people have given me has provided enough confidence to keep on going and create.
As for the person beyond the voice, I just live in a small apartment with far too many (or is it not enough?) horror movies, mountains of books, a plethora of video games, a boyfriend, and a very, very mischievous cat named Slendie.
