I am a lover of stories and these are high quality horror stories. I listen to these almost daily at work! I feel like this series is the horror podcast I've been waiting for so long. There's horror, incredibly talented writers, voice actors and sound designers, the intro/outros are funny and interesting, and the quality level is incredible. Needless to say, I threw ad-blocker out of the window, never to return.

I've found out the hard way that The Simply Scary Podcast is not a good podcast to listen to when house-sitting alone after dark. Between G.M. Danielson's too-smooth narration, the disturbing imagery and spooky sound design, I really shouldn't keep tormenting myself like this, but I just keep coming back for more.

I recently got into the horror story scene, and I am loving all the stories on this channel. Endless content at this point. Congrats to all the great readers! 10/10!

I love these stories. I was glad to finally find a podcast that was actually scary. The stories and story tellers are all amazing. The podcasts come out frequently so there is always a new story. This is one of the best podcasts out there.

In some of your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice in voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. I love the work and effort you all put into these stories. I first started listening to other channels, which got me interested. You, however, are on another level. It is nostalgic almost. Listening to you guys narrate the stories makes me think of such classic shows like "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Goosebumps." I have been inspired to try writing some of my own stories, and hope that maybe, someday, one may be featured on your channel. It would be an honor.

You have so many great productions! Thank you so much for doing all this, and an extra 'thank you' for featuring so many stories with a female point of view! When I first started listening to horror narrations, it was super difficult to find anything both written and narrated by ladies - and yours (along with The NoSleep Podcast) were the first ones I found that features them. As a girl, I guess there's just something extra relatable to the stories when you're the same sex as the narrator, as a lot of social anxieties and fears are still rooted in gender constructs.

I'm a truck driver, and I've been listening to all your stories for 11 hours a day, every day, for the past week. I always drive at night and your stories and great narration have made my travels through dark spooky deserts, forests and small towns in the middle of nowhere across the country much more interesting.! Just want to comment to let you know how big a fan I am. I've been subscribed for a couple of years now and this is by far one of my favourite channels! I get frequent migraines and when this happens I have to lie in a pitch black room, sometimes for hours on end, but unlike some I am okay with a little sound during this time, so I always dive straight for a good CTFDN! I've probably listened to over 100 stories on this channel, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Thank you so much for making my migraines a little less painful!!

I live off all of Chilling Tales for Dark Nights' stories. I listen at work, at home, and in the car. I love all the voice actors. They all do great work. Otis Jiry is my all-time favorite, and had I not been told about Chilling Tales for Dark Nights I probably wouldn't have heard of him.
