I've found out the hard way that The Simply Scary Podcast is not a good podcast to listen to when house-sitting alone after dark. Between G.M. Danielson's too-smooth narration, the disturbing imagery and spooky sound design, I really shouldn't keep tormenting myself like this, but I just keep coming back for more.

I love this channel. I don't know why this channel does not have 10 million subscribers. Good job as always.

Unlike other audio stories, these stories have no boundaries and are quite eerie. The amazing part is these story tellers are from the underground and yet seem much more talented than actors who come from Performing Arts backgrounds. Just shows how little talent exists in our mainstream and how they oppress those who possess real talent out there.

I love the work and effort you all put into these stories. I first started listening to other channels, which got me interested. You, however, are on another level. It is nostalgic almost. Listening to you guys narrate the stories makes me think of such classic shows like "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Goosebumps." I have been inspired to try writing some of my own stories, and hope that maybe, someday, one may be featured on your channel. It would be an honor.

This is sort of a fan message or a message of appreciation from a person who loves your content more than any other on YouTube or on the internet. I personally love your videos and every time I watch, or in this case HEAR the videos that you produce, I am astounded by the amount of quality and the depth of the editing in every one of them. In your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice of voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. I only wish that you keep up the good work and only hope that you gain more and more subscribers in the future that you well deserve. I think this is a very underrated channel. It has very good audio quality and offers many different readers. Definitely deserves more subscribers.

This YouTube web channel is awesome! Some of them are definitely scary! This feed reminds me of the Scary Stories for Kids anthologies I used to read as a child.

I feel like this series is the horror podcast I've been waiting for so long. There's horror, incredibly talented writers, voice actors and sound designers, the intro/outros are funny and interesting, and the quality level is incredible. Needless to say, I threw ad-blocker out of the window, never to return.

Your podcasts are fantastic! I was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and just stumbled across your podcast. There are days that I cannot walk due to neuropathy, so I am laid up. You can only read so many books or comics or sketch so many sketches. Your podcast keeps me fully entertained with shivers! Thank you very much! I'm just writing to say that your stories as narrated by Otis Jiry helped me out a lot recently. The past couple of days have been terrible for me, and in the absolute worst moments, I put on your videos. Even if the words didn't mean anything through my pain and fog, just hearing the sound of Mr. Jiry's voice calmed me. It was like having a tireless, loving grandfather read me stories.
