I am listening to CTFDN in bed, in the dark quietness, hours after discovering my uncle is dead. The last few years have seen us nearly homeless 3 times with our little boys, me developing horrid, potentially fatal infections and subsequent illness after, my self employment terminated, my possible insolvency, my father having a massive stroke and becoming blind in one eye, multiple deaths, and many many other things... they have been the hardest time of my entire life, including my house fire years ago. This place is one of the things that has been keeping me going, truly. I can't say how helpful this has been. Thank you. Keep it up, folks, you are awesome!

When I first met my girlfriend, who is as into scary stories as much as I am, one of the first things I showed her was Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, and we now go to sleep to the many stories they've featured.

So loving these stories. They are amazing! Please keep making these. I love a good freaky story.

Lately I've noticed quite a few comments on your videos about how you help your listeners, so I thought I'd leave my own. It's not particularly poignant - I work a lot of solitary late-night overtime (in a cavernous, empty building). It gets pretty lonely, and you've kept me company through all of my projects in the last few years. I know you're doing this for free right now, yet still putting an enormous amount of effort into it (more than some put into their paying jobs) and that means a great deal to me and the rest of your fans. And we're all sure you WILL make a living of it soon. You're fantastic, and you're getting better by the day.  

I just stumbled onto this site via YouTube. I'm amazed at the quality of narration many of these stories have! I've read "Just Another Night," "A Knock at the Window," and "Mr. Widemouth," and I've just been over-awed at the talent the narrators have, and the time and effort that has obviously gone into their readings. Thank you so much for presenting such wonderful stories, told with such skill, and brought to life by the reading. I'm definitely recommending you to fans of scary stories.

All of your narrators are amazing, and I wish you guys got the recognition you deserve!

Some of the other horror storytellers are good, but I don't think they're even in the same league as the amazing group of people at Chilling Tales for Dark Nights.  

Compared to other popular horror narrators out there, CTFDN reads much more mature and developed stories. They have a great element of suspense and fear that leaves you thinking at the end of the story, analyzing the whole thing. On top of that they have a crew of some of the best horror narrators out there, and it's not just one person reading in the same voice over and over again. They have famous guest narrators and a multitude of great accents, both adding something different, changing it up. One of my favorite things about them is that they interact with the fans, not a lot of people do that. Some of the others are good, but I don't think they're even in the same league as this amazing group of people.

My wife is back in the hospital, bills are piling up, and the landlord is at the door. This thing you have done with my story ["The Fat Guy Gets the Girl"] is one of the things getting me through the storm. You, sir, are a good egg. One of the best.

I wanted to thank you guys for everything you do. I am a stay-at-home mom and I look to you guys to help me get through the days of screaming kids, messy pets and a house in constant disarray. If anything, your stories tell me "Hey, you think you got it bad?" LOL
