Just found this channel today and, man, I must say that it is definitely one of the best I've come across. The dramatic sound effects that you add into these stories at certain times add so much more depth and immersion into the narration than any of the other creepypasta channels I'm subscribed to.

I'm just writing to say that your stories as narrated by Otis Jiry helped me out a lot recently. The past couple of days have been terrible for me, and in the absolute worst moments, I put on your videos. Even if the words didn't mean anything through my pain and fog, just hearing the sound of Mr. Jiry's voice calmed me. It was like having a tireless, loving grandfather read me stories.

I was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease two years ago, and it's trying it's hardest to kill me. I used to be an avid reader, but my body function is rapidly declining, and I can't really hold books very well anymore, so I'm thrilled to have found your YouTube channel. Wow, such amazing voice talent and use of sound as well!  It's difficult to find this level of love and care put into creepypasta readings.  The rustling campfire sounds and the voices of the children during the narrations...  obviously lots of work. I just happened to accidentally find this channel, but damn is it a "happy" accident. Your stories don't send chills down my spine or a rush of endorphins to the brain like Mr. Creepypasta's stories, but your voice and the depth and visual-detailing prowess from your words is just pure otherworldly, far better than any channel I've seen. Like someone already stated, you're more so a psychological style of horror, one that gets me thinking. Love this channel, so you sir have +1 subscriber!

I work as a security patrol officer on the grave shift and these stories are absolutely appropriate for this work setting. I finished one of them at the back of a poorly-lit, lonely parking lot, and the last part gave me the chills! This channel is completely underrated!

I've gotten hooked on scary stories, and love listening to Otis! My boyfriend and I listen to Chilling Tales in the car, before bed, and when we wake up... it's basically all we do now!

A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!
