I just think CTFDN are the best! What I love is the way all the stories are actually read to us. That's what makes listening a scary pleasure, You amazing storytellers read them like you're reliving it, kind of like you or someone you know has experienced it, where as a lot of the other narrators just make it sound as if they're just reading us a scary story from a book. And I really mean it - I would rather spend one hour listening to stories on this channel than watching some bad new horror movie that fails to scare me on any occasion whatsoever. Compared to other popular horror narrators out there, CTFDN reads much more mature and developed stories. They have a great element of suspense and fear that leaves you thinking at the end of the story, analyzing the whole thing. On top of that they have a crew of some of the best horror narrators out there, and it's not just one person reading in the same voice over and over again. They have famous guest narrators and a multitude of great accents, both adding something different, changing it up. One of my favorite things about them is that they interact with the fans, not a lot of people do that. Some of the others are good, but I don't think they're even in the same league as this amazing group of people.

Love your website! I've already recommended it to all my friends. I have yet to read a story (or hear one on video) that didn't make at least one shiver go down my spine. My favorite one of your narrators is Jonathan Jones. Keep up the awesome work!

I can see some really classic and cult followings with this website.  I feel as happy with this site right now as I did when I picked up my first "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" book and the sequels there after. Stories with sound, immersion, and characters that you can hear...AMAZING!
