I've been a fan of horror films/ literature ever since I can remember. Therefore when I came across "Chilling Tales" website, I just loved it immediately! I love the narrations and the stories!

Unlike other audio stories, these stories have no boundaries and are quite eerie. The amazing part is these story tellers are from the underground and yet seem much more talented than actors who come from Performing Arts backgrounds. Just shows how little talent exists in our mainstream and how they oppress those who possess real talent out there.

Compared to other popular horror narrators out there, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights reads much more mature and developed stories. They have a great element of suspense and fear that leaves you thinking at the end of the story, analyzing the whole thing.

I am listening to CTFDN in bed, in the dark quietness, hours after discovering my uncle is dead. The last few years have seen us nearly homeless 3 times with our little boys, me developing horrid, potentially fatal infections and subsequent illness after, my self employment terminated, my possible insolvency, my father having a massive stroke and becoming blind in one eye, multiple deaths, and many many other things... they have been the hardest time of my entire life, including my house fire years ago. This place is one of the things that has been keeping me going, truly. I can't say how helpful this has been. Thank you. Keep it up, folks, you are awesome!

What makes your channel different from other channels is that you add life and character to your narration, which is kind of hard to find nowadays.

I am a 52-year-old totally blind musician and producer. I have to tell you how much I am enjoying these stories. I am a long time fan of horror stories and novels as well. These are good and a lot of fun. Keep up the great work. I love to listen to these in the evening after a day of recording and mixing in my studio. Thank you so much for what you're doing.

I just wanted to thank you for your readings! Seems quite a few people do, but you have the best voices for reading horror stories, in my opinion! That's what makes listening a scary pleasure, You amazing storytellers read them like you're reliving it, kind of like you or someone you know has experienced it, where as a lot of the other narrators just make it sound as if they're just reading us a scary story from a book.
