This YouTube web channel is awesome! Some of them are definitely scary! This feed reminds me of the Scary Stories for Kids anthologies I used to read as a child.

I work as a security patrol officer on the grave shift and these stories are absolutely appropriate for this work setting. I finished one of them at the back of a poorly-lit, lonely parking lot, and the last part gave me the chills! This channel is completely underrated!

I just want to let you know how much I admire your narrations, and how oddly enough calming they are to me. I have small-cell lung cancer, and I partly credit you with helping me cope with it. Through all the nights when I hurt so badly that I wanted to die, or when chemo made me so sick I felt like I couldn't go on, I would listen to your narrations, and somehow it calmed me enough to face another day. Thank you. You do good things.

I want to thank you for making every evening one full of excitement and scares. But most of all, I want to thank you, as an avid listener, for accompanying me during the many nights I spend doodling, illustrating, animating, editing etc. giving me something to listen to and making those nights easier for me. I absolutely adore the quality of the CTFDN channel. All the little background noises, from the chatting, and the crackling fire, to the clanking of the plates and the eerie music. Thank you for all the great videos!

I think this is a very underrated channel. It has very good audio quality and offers many different readers. Definitely deserves more subscribers.

I personally love your videos and every time I watch, or in this case hear the videos that you produce, I am astounded by the amount of quality and the depth of the editing in every one of them. In some of your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice in voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. I only wish that you keep up the good work and that you gain more and more subscribers in the future that you well deserve. I just had to write to tell you how much I love your podcast. I've never been a podcast fan before, but recently I stumbled across your podcast and website by accident, and I was entranced. I love a good scary tale, and your site has more than enough to keep me coming back. I liked it so much, I even signed on as a Patron. You are all truly amazing. Horror is a passion of mine. I listen to this channel (along with the individual channels of many of the narrators and collaborators) for at least 3 hours a day. On the way to work. On my lunch hour. And on the way home. I also often listen while either writing or gaming. You are truly a phenomenal group that has given some great chills and a lot of happiness.

I am listening to CTFDN in bed, in the dark quietness, hours after discovering my uncle is dead. The last few years have seen us nearly homeless 3 times with our little boys, me developing horrid, potentially fatal infections and subsequent illness after, my self employment terminated, my possible insolvency, my father having a massive stroke and becoming blind in one eye, multiple deaths, and many many other things... they have been the hardest time of my entire life, including my house fire years ago. This place is one of the things that has been keeping me going, truly. I can't say how helpful this has been. Thank you. Keep it up, folks, you are awesome!

Chilling Tales for Dark Nights are so much better than 90% of the horror suspense genre that's out there in pop culture! All of the Hollywood cookie-cutter stories combined don't equal the quality of CTFDN!

The Simply Scary Podcast is delightful! I added it to my list of favorite podcasts to play instead of sleeping!
