I can see some really classic and cult followings with this website.  I feel as happy with this site right now as I did when I picked up my first "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" book and the sequels there after. Stories with sound, immersion, and characters that you can hear...AMAZING!

Chilling Tales for Dark Nights are reviving a lost art, a great art form that stirs the imagination like no other. New generations can experience what it was like to huddle close to the radio and be mesmerized because of all CTFDN's hard work and loving dedication to the genre.

Unlike other audio stories, these stories have no boundaries and are quite eerie. The amazing part is these story tellers are from the underground and yet seem much more talented than actors who come from Performing Arts backgrounds. Just shows how little talent exists in our mainstream and how they oppress those who possess real talent out there.

Excellent work - can only expect greatness from this channel! You guys are my favorites and I know I mention it a lot, but you literally make it worth getting up on a morning sometimes, and I can't just play that off as if it doesn't mean anything. I just think CTFDN are the best! What I love is the way all the stories are actually read to us. That's what makes listening a scary pleasure, You amazing storytellers read them like you're reliving it, kind of like you or someone you know has experienced it, where as a lot of the other narrators just make it sound as if they're just reading us a scary story from a book. Keep doing what you're doing, CTFDN! You're brilliant!

I think this is a very underrated channel. It has very good audio quality and offers many different readers. Definitely deserves more subscribers.

I just stumbled onto this site via YouTube. I'm amazed at the quality of narration many of these stories have! I've read "Just Another Night," "A Knock at the Window," and "Mr. Widemouth," and I've just been over-awed at the talent the narrators have, and the time and effort that has obviously gone into their readings. I just had to write to tell you how much I love your podcast. I've never been a podcast fan before, but recently I stumbled across your podcast and website by accident, and I was entranced. I love a good scary tale, and your site has more than enough to keep me coming back. I liked it so much, I even signed on as a Patron.
