I've found out the hard way that The Simply Scary Podcast is not a good podcast to listen to when house-sitting alone after dark. Between G.M. Danielson's too-smooth narration, the disturbing imagery and spooky sound design, I really shouldn't keep tormenting myself like this, but I just keep coming back for more.

I love this channel. I don't know why this channel does not have 10 million subscribers. Good job as always.

I've heard creepypastas and scary stories from the likes of MrCreepyPasta, CreepsMcPasta, CreepyPastaJr and more recently Be Busta, Lazy Masquerade & Dr. Horror, but Chilling Tales are on a whole other level, to the point that I would rather listen to their productions than horror movies. The amount of quality and the depth of the editing and subtle details add a whole new level to each story they adapt, bringing back the terror and sense of fear that these stories were meant to have! Keep up the good work, and I only hope that you gain more and more success in the future that you all well and truly deserve.

I'd like to extend a big thank you for what you do. I'm a big fan, and have been subscribed since the beginning. Every single time you put out content it's extremely high quality and all of your voice actors/narrators are so good. I'm loving your series so far and can't wait to hear more.

Amazing horror stories! I have listened to quite a few and will catch up on all of the other podcasts/stories/videos. Amazing sound effects, narration, stories, and voice acting. I am a lover of stories and these are high quality horror stories. I listen to these almost daily at work! I love your creepypasta videos - they are the best of anyone out there. It may be the fact that you integrate music and sound effects, different and awesome voices, or the awesome uniqueness I've not seen anywhere else. Unlike other sites I've submitted stories to, I have been a massive fan of CTFDN for some time. That is to say, I'll put your Nightmare Fuel playlist on my phone and listen to that as I go to sleep. When I met my girlfriend, who is as into scary stories as much as I am, one of the first things I showed her is your channel, and we go to sleep to the many stories you have on your site. So, finally getting a story accepted by your site is on par with the cliche of having a dream come true. I am a physicist by trade, but the dream for me is to get paid as a writer. All of this to say that this opportunity and what I hope will develop into a relationship is beyond anything I hoped would actually come to pass. I thank you for everything. We got rid of cable, and I used to read a lot but with seizure meds I'm always blurring my vision. Being able to listen to you means I can still have the stories! It's become a nightly ritual for me!

I am listening to CTFDN in bed, in the dark quietness, hours after discovering my uncle is dead. The last few years have seen us nearly homeless 3 times with our little boys, me developing horrid, potentially fatal infections and subsequent illness after, my self employment terminated, my possible insolvency, my father having a massive stroke and becoming blind in one eye, multiple deaths, and many many other things... they have been the hardest time of my entire life, including my house fire years ago. This place is one of the things that has been keeping me going, truly. I can't say how helpful this has been. Thank you. Keep it up, folks, you are awesome!

Your podcasts are fantastic! I was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and just stumbled across your podcast. There are days that I cannot walk due to neuropathy, so I am laid up. I just happened to accidentally find this channel, but damn is it a "happy" accident. Your stories don't send chills down my spine or a rush of endorphins to the brain like Mr. Creepypasta's stories, but your voice and the depth and visual-detailing prowess from your words is just pure otherworldly, far better than any channel I've seen. Like someone already stated, you're more so a psychological style of horror, one that gets me thinking. Love this channel, so you sir have +1 subscriber!

Just found this channel today and, man, I must say that it is definitely one of the best I've come across. The dramatic sound effects that you add into these stories at certain times add so much more depth and immersion into the narration than any of the other creepypasta channels I'm subscribed to.
