A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!

You have so many great productions! Thank you so much for doing all this, and an extra 'thank you' for featuring so many stories with a female point of view! When I first started listening to horror narrations, it was super difficult to find anything both written and narrated by ladies - and yours (along with The NoSleep Podcast) were the first ones I found that features them. As a girl, I guess there's just something extra relatable to the stories when you're the same sex as the narrator, as a lot of social anxieties and fears are still rooted in gender constructs.

I love to watch and listen to all the scary stories. I listen to the reads on YouTube all the time! It is one of my favorite things to do.

I love your long, emotional, good quality, horror stories. It makes the night seem to last longer, and the lamps a little dimmer. Nothing beats a long, dark night filled with fear and dread that makes you laugh at your own irrational and childish fears after the sun rises.

Great job! Your dedication and effort has truly set the standard for horror story telling. CTFDN horror story marathons are now part of our family Halloween tradition!

All of the narrations and stories on this channel are great! One of Otis's narrations got me hooked about 6 months ago. Good stuff, very professional compared to some creepy pasta narrators out there.

In some of your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice in voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. Chilling Tales for Dark Nights is my go-to channel when I need a great story to listen to.

Some of the other horror storytellers are good, but I don't think they're even in the same league as the amazing group of people at Chilling Tales for Dark Nights.
