I've been looking for this. I LOVE scary, creepy, chilling stories. Something about being scared lets you know that you're still alive......for the moment. Love this channel, love the stories. I can't remember the last time I've heard any story that will make me think....well....there were a few. The only downfall is that I seem to be home alone often. I don't worry about that, I have your stories to keep me company.

I honestly haven't found another quality channel like this one at all. Great job!

These are such high quality, it's crazy! I love some of the other horror storytellers out there, but if you're looking for something really high quality - not a narration, but an audio experience that will make you flip - this is it. Love these!

A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!

I personally love your videos and every time I watch, or in this case hear the videos that you produce, I am astounded by the amount of quality and the depth of the editing in every one of them. In some of your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice in voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. I drive a great distance daily on my commute to work and back. I listen to different stories since I've grown bored with the radio, mostly to keep me awake on my drive. Y'all do a great job putting all this together, it's the best thing I've heard so far, every bit as good as an audio book or something you'd buy at the store. Thanks for keeping me awake and alert.!

You have so many great productions! Thank you so much for doing all this, and an extra 'thank you' for featuring so many stories with a female point of view! When I first started listening to horror narrations, it was super difficult to find anything both written and narrated by ladies - and yours (along with The NoSleep Podcast) were the first ones I found that features them. As a girl, I guess there's just something extra relatable to the stories when you're the same sex as the narrator, as a lot of social anxieties and fears are still rooted in gender constructs.

I can see some really classic and cult followings with this website.  I feel as happy with this site right now as I did when I picked up my first "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" book and the sequels there after. Stories with sound, immersion, and characters that you can hear...AMAZING!

I really love your readings! You can make even the worst story sound deep and meaningful. It's a shame your channel hasn't received more attention. But anyways, I hope you keep doing what you're doing, as I look forward to more readings!

Compared to other popular horror narrators out there, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights reads much more mature and developed stories. They have a great element of suspense and fear that leaves you thinking at the end of the story, analyzing the whole thing.
