I just want to let you know how much I admire your narrations, and how oddly enough calming they are to me. I have small-cell lung cancer, and I partly credit you with helping me cope with it. Through all the nights when I hurt so badly that I wanted to die, or when chemo made me so sick I felt like I couldn't go on, I would listen to your narrations, and somehow it calmed me enough to face another day. Thank you. I personally love your videos and every time I watch, or in this case HEAR the videos that you produce, I am astounded by the amount of quality and the depth of the editing in every one of them. In your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice of voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. Compared to other popular horror narrators out there, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights reads much more mature and developed stories. They have a great element of suspense and fear that leaves you thinking at the end of the story, analyzing the whole thing.

What makes your channel different from other channels is that you add life and character to your narration, which is kind of hard to find nowadays.

A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!

I just think CTFDN are the best! What I love is the way all the stories are actually read to us. That's what makes listening a scary pleasure, You amazing storytellers read them like you're reliving it, kind of like you or someone you know has experienced it, where as a lot of the other narrators just make it sound as if they're just reading us a scary story from a book. Keep doing what you're doing, CTFDN! You're brilliant!

Listening to you guys narrate the stories makes me think of such classic shows like "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Goosebumps." I have been inspired to try writing some of my own stories, and hope that maybe, someday, one may be featured on your channel. It would be an honor.
