Lately I've noticed quite a few comments on your videos about how you help your listeners, so I thought I'd leave my own. It's not particularly poignant - I work a lot of solitary late-night overtime (in a cavernous, empty building). It gets pretty lonely, and you've kept me company through all of my projects in the last few years. I know you're doing this for free right now, yet still putting an enormous amount of effort into it (more than some put into their paying jobs) and that means a great deal to me and the rest of your fans. And we're all sure you WILL make a living of it soon. You're fantastic, and you're getting better by the day.

I've been listening to stories on YouTube for almost two years now. Creepy pastas, creepy or otherwise. Stories that make you cry, stories that make you laugh, stories that make you groan, stories that make you question your existence, and stories that have made me turn on every light in my house, close every curtain, and sit inside a salt circle with a crucifix and gun. I'm happy to say that this channel has, so far, proven to be one of my absolute favorites, with the authentic sound effects and variety of narrators making each and every story unique. So please, keep narrating, keep posting, and of course, stay spooky.

This is sort of a fan message or a message of appreciation from a person who loves your content more than any other on YouTube or on the internet. I personally love your videos and every time I watch, or in this case hear the videos that you produce, I am astounded by the amount of quality and the depth of the editing in every one of them. In some of your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice in voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. I just think CTFDN are the best! What I love is the way all the stories are actually read to us. That's what makes listening a scary pleasure, You amazing storytellers read them like you're reliving it, kind of like you or someone you know has experienced it, where as a lot of the other narrators just make it sound as if they're just reading us a scary story from a book. Keep doing what you're doing, CTFDN! You're brilliant!

I've only recently discovered Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, and only listened to a handful of their videos so far, but I already adore the channel. It deserves so many more subs than it has, and I'm shocked that they don't get more attention. Clear audio and voices, well-written stories...it's fantastic. I am determined to spread word of them all over the place.

You gentlemen are reviving a lost art, a great art form that stirs the imagination like no other. New generations can experience what it was like to huddle close to the radio and be mesmerized because of all your hard work and loving dedication to the genre. We got rid of cable, and I used to read a lot but with seizure meds I'm always blurring my vision. Being able to listen to you means I can still have the stories! It's become a nightly ritual for me!
