I am listening to CTFDN in bed, in the dark quietness, hours after discovering my uncle is dead. The last few years have seen us nearly homeless 3 times with our little boys, me developing horrid, potentially fatal infections and subsequent illness after, my self employment terminated, my possible insolvency, my father having a massive stroke and becoming blind in one eye, multiple deaths, and many many other things... they have been the hardest time of my entire life, including my house fire years ago. This place is one of the things that has been keeping me going, truly. I can't say how helpful this has been. Thank you. Keep it up, folks, you are awesome!

A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!

We got rid of cable, and I used to read a lot but with seizure meds I'm always blurring my vision. Being able to listen to you means I can still have the stories! It's become a nightly ritual for me!

Unlike other sites I've submitted stories to, I have been a massive fan of CTFDN for some time. That is to say, I'll put your Nightmare Fuel playlist on my phone and listen to that as I go to sleep. When I met my girlfriend, who is as into scary stories as much as I am, one of the first things I showed her is your channel, and we go to sleep to the many stories you have on your site. So, finally getting a story accepted by your site is on par with the cliche of having a dream come true. I am a physicist by trade, but the dream for me is to get paid as a writer. All of this to say that this opportunity and what I hope will develop into a relationship is beyond anything I hoped would actually come to pass. I thank you for everything. I live off all of Chilling Tales for Dark Nights' stories. I listen at work, at home, and in the car. I love all the voice actors. They all do great work. Otis Jiry is my all-time favorite, and had I not been told about Chilling Tales for Dark Nights I probably wouldn't have heard of him.

You guys are so much better than 90 percent of the horror suspense genre that's out there in pop culture!  They get the TV commercials and  recognition that you guys should have! All of the Hollywood cookie-cutter  stories combined don't equal the quality of your channel. I look forward to every new narration. I was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease two years ago, and it's trying it's hardest to kill me. I used to be an avid reader, but my body function is rapidly declining, and I can't really hold books very well anymore, so I'm thrilled to have found your YouTube channel. I still get thrilling, scary stories, without having to struggle and kill my hands in the process! I love the escape you guys provide me, and once again... I sincerely thank you.

I think this is a very underrated channel. It has very good audio quality and offers many different readers. Definitely deserves more subscribers.
