I've been a fan of horror films/ literature ever since I can remember. Therefore when I came across "Chilling Tales" website, I just loved it immediately! Really enjoying going through the stories late at night, with the lights down and my earphones cranked up! Just wanted to say a big "thanks" to all the contributors and admin. These are such high quality, it's crazy! I love some of the other horror storytellers out there, but if you're looking for something really high quality - not a narration, but an audio experience that will make you flip - this is it. Love these!

I just want to let you know how much I admire your narrations, and how oddly enough calming they are to me. I have small-cell lung cancer, and I partly credit you with helping me cope with it. Through all the nights when I hurt so badly that I wanted to die, or when chemo made me so sick I felt like I couldn't go on, I would listen to your narrations, and somehow it calmed me enough to face another day. Thank you. Anyone who loves all things horror as much as me and isn't listening to the Chilling Tales podcast, do it now! It's so good, I swear!

A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!

I just stumbled onto this site via YouTube. I'm amazed at the quality of narration many of these stories have! I've read "Just Another Night," "A Knock at the Window," and "Mr. Widemouth," and I've just been over-awed at the talent the narrators have, and the time and effort that has obviously gone into their readings. Thank you so much for presenting such wonderful stories, told with such skill, and brought to life by the reading. I'm definitely recommending you to fans of scary stories.

This channel is amazing. I love how the stories actually scare and freak me out. Most horror movies are so predictable these days, they don't even come close.

I love the work and effort you all put into these stories. I first started listening to other channels, which got me interested. You, however, are on another level. It is nostalgic almost. Listening to you guys narrate the stories makes me think of such classic shows like "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Goosebumps." I have been inspired to try writing some of my own stories, and hope that maybe, someday, one may be featured on your channel. It would be an honor.
