Listening to you guys narrate the stories makes me think of such classic shows like "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" and "Goosebumps." I can sum up your website and your project all up in one word: amazing.  I followed this project for quite a bit now and it is wonderful in many ways. I love the way you can listen to various stories narrated by various narrators. It is a great project you have going on. You have so many great productions! Thank you so much for doing all this, and an extra 'thank you' for featuring so many stories with a female point of view! When I first started listening to horror narrations, it was super difficult to find anything both written and narrated by ladies - and yours (along with The NoSleep Podcast) were the first ones I found that features them. As a girl, I guess there's just something extra relatable to the stories when you're the same sex as the narrator, as a lot of social anxieties and fears are still rooted in gender constructs.

This channel is so underrated!

Unlike other sites I've submitted stories to, I have been a massive fan of CTFDN for some time. That is to say, I'll put your Nightmare Fuel playlist on my phone and listen to that as I go to sleep. When I met my girlfriend, who is as into scary stories as much as I am, one of the first things I showed her is your channel, and we go to sleep to the many stories you have on your site. So, finally getting a story accepted by your site is on par with the cliche of having a dream come true. I am a physicist by trade, but the dream for me is to get paid as a writer. All of this to say that this opportunity and what I hope will develop into a relationship is beyond anything I hoped would actually come to pass. I thank you for everything. I just stumbled onto this site via YouTube. I'm amazed at the quality of narration many of these stories have! I've read "Just Another Night," "A Knock at the Window," and "Mr. Widemouth," and I've just been over-awed at the talent the narrators have, and the time and effort that has obviously gone into their readings. Not only am I a big fan of Chilling Tales: The Podcast and its YouTube channel, I am a huge horror fan overall. I've been a morbid little horror buff ever since I was a child, and horror has always been my absolute favorite genre. I am the type of person who can spend days on end consuming horror fiction. Whether its books, creepypasta, podcasts, browsing reddit and the rest of the net, I'm always in search of a good read that chills me. So when I heard about the opportunity to become a part of the Chilling Tales for Dark Nights team, I had to jump on the chance! Being able to do what I love as well as supporting this incredible  podcast? The offer was too good to pass up!

I can see some really classic and cult followings with this website.  I feel as happy with this site right now as I did when I picked up my first "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" book and the sequels there after. Stories with sound, immersion, and characters that you can hear...AMAZING!

I love your long, emotional, good quality, horror stories. It makes the night seem to last longer, and the lamps a little dimmer. Nothing beats a long, dark night filled with fear and dread that makes you laugh at your own irrational and childish fears after the sun rises.
