Yours in my new favorite YouTube channel to watch! I am enjoying catching up on all your videos - great stories!

I always love seeing one of your videos in my subscriptions box. There's always something exciting about knowing a story is going to be good, and with this channel, I know it's not going to be a "lazy" video. I love how the narrators' voices usually match what I think the characters would sound like. I can't help but love these, especially since you can tell the amount of work that's gone into them.

A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!

Thank you for being the best scare-cast out there. You're probably, or most certainly, even better than NoSleep! Keep up the great work! I'll spread the unholy word of the Simply Scary Podcast to all my friends and family!

I really enjoy all the stories that are told on your channel. So much so that I'm considering doing my own channel!

Lately I've noticed quite a few comments on your videos about how you help your listeners, so I thought I'd leave my own. It's not particularly poignant - I work a lot of solitary late-night overtime (in a cavernous, empty building). It gets pretty lonely, and you've kept me company through all of my projects in the last few years. I know you're doing this for free right now, yet still putting an enormous amount of effort into it (more than some put into their paying jobs) and that means a great deal to me and the rest of your fans. And we're all sure you WILL make a living of it soon. You're fantastic, and you're getting better by the day.  

I am officially hooked on this channel!

Just found your YouTube channel and website today and, man, I must say that it is definitely one of the best I've come across. The dramatic sound effects that you add into these stories at certain times add so much more depth and immersion to the narration than any of the other creepypasta channels I'm subscribed to.

I found this channel over the summer, and it provided me with the enticement to get through my summer school work and listen to them! Top notch narrators, writers, and producers. And they are very polite when you submit a story, as well!

Amazing horror stories! I have listened to quite a few and will catch up on all of the other podcasts/stories/videos. Amazing sound effects, narration, stories, and voice acting. I am a lover of stories and these are high quality horror stories. I listen to these almost daily at work! Thank you, Chilling Takes for Dark Nights, for making audio storytelling so fresh, exciting, scary, and exhilaratingly fun to listen to!

I just happened to accidentally find this channel, but damn is it a "happy" accident. Your stories don't send chills down my spine or a rush of endorphins to the brain like Mr. Creepypasta's stories, but your voice and the depth and visual-detailing prowess from your words is just pure otherworldly, far better than any channel I've seen. Like someone already stated, you're more so a psychological style of horror, one that gets me thinking. Love this channel, so you sir have +1 subscriber!

These are brilliant! You guys deserve a lot more subscribers. I can't sleep without hearing a good horror tale and the music and narration on the majority of the videos is great. Well done!

I just wanted to thank you for your readings! Seems quite a few people do, but you have the best voices for reading horror stories, in my opinion! I love these stories. I was glad to finally find a podcast that was actually scary. The stories and story tellers are all amazing. The podcasts come out frequently so there is always a new story. This is one of the best podcasts out there.

Your collection of stories...tales...nightmares...is fantastic! I have listened to many of the stories multiple times, both while introducing your collection to friends and while just tuning out for the day. All of them are among the best I have ever heard. Thank you for an amazing site and for providing these stories.

Unlike other audio stories, these stories have no boundaries and are quite eerie. The amazing part is these story tellers are from the underground and yet seem much more talented than actors who come from Performing Arts backgrounds. Just shows how little talent exists in our mainstream and how they oppress those who possess real talent out there.
