I know this may sound super lame, but I wanted you all to know how great you are, and the positive impact you've had in my life. I was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disease two years ago, and it's trying it's hardest to kill me. I used to be an avid reader, but my body function is rapidly declining, and I can't really hold books very well anymore, so I'm thrilled to have found your YouTube channel. I still get thrilling, scary stories, without having to struggle and kill my hands in the process! I love the escape you guys provide me, and once again... I sincerely thank you.

How do you guys always get the perfect narrator for every story? I've liked everything you've done so far. Hope you keep it up!

So I looked up other channels that do the same things that you do (i.e. that tell stories), and you guys are my FAVORITE one! It shocks me how Mr. Creepypasta has, like, 400,000 subs and you guys have 19,000. You guys have way better editing and narrators, but in due time you'll be seeing the same numbers.

I just had to write to tell you how much I love your podcast. I've never been a podcast fan before, but recently I stumbled across your podcast and website by accident, and I was entranced. I love a good scary tale, and your site has more than enough to keep me coming back. I liked it so much, I even signed on as a Patron. I personally love your videos and every time I watch, or in this case HEAR the videos that you produce, I am astounded by the amount of quality and the depth of the editing in every one of them. In your recent uploads, I nearly fooled myself into thinking that they are actual videos playing and not voice overs. They are very well-crafted videos and the choice of voice actors is astounding, and I thank you for making such well-crafted videos. Some of them actually scared me at some points in the viewing, due to the well-placed sounds and jump scares. I just happened to accidentally find this channel, but damn is it a "happy" accident. Your stories don't send chills down my spine or a rush of endorphins to the brain like Mr. Creepypasta's stories, but your voice and the depth and visual-detailing prowess from your words is just pure otherworldly, far better than any channel I've seen. Like someone already stated, you're more so a psychological style of horror, one that gets me thinking. Love this channel, so you sir have +1 subscriber!

I've found out the hard way that The Simply Scary Podcast is not a good podcast to listen to when house-sitting alone after dark. Between G.M. Danielson's too-smooth narration, the disturbing imagery and spooky sound design, I really shouldn't keep tormenting myself like this, but I just keep coming back for more.

Great stories and also a very well designed website, be very proud of what your guys have achieved here.

You guys are my favorites and I know I mention it a lot, but you literally make it worth getting up on a morning sometimes, and I can't just play that off as if it doesn't mean anything. I'm inspired by this channel, by you people, and knowing that a bunch of ordinary - albeit, totally nice, interesting and individual - people can turn something as typical as reading stories and make it into something as spectacular as this. I've been looking for this. I LOVE scary, creepy, chilling stories. Something about being scared lets you know that you're still alive......for the moment. Love this channel, love the stories. I can't remember the last time I've heard any story that will make me think....well....there were a few. The only downfall is that I seem to be home alone often. I don't worry about that, I have your stories to keep me company.

Compared to other popular horror narrators out there, CTFDN reads much more mature and developed stories. They have a great element of suspense and fear that leaves you thinking at the end of the story, analyzing the whole thing. On top of that they have a crew of some of the best horror narrators out there, and it's not just one person reading in the same voice over and over again. They have famous guest narrators and a multitude of great accents, both adding something different, changing it up. One of my favorite things about them is that they interact with the fans, not a lot of people do that. Some of the others are good, but I don't think they're even in the same league as this amazing group of people.

I would like to thank everyone at Chilling Tales for the hard work and dedication that has been put into this channel, it does not go unnoticed by your true fans. Many nights I have stayed up whether I'm having a restless night or doing homework and y'all are always there to keep me company and focused.

Chilling Tales for Dark Nights' stories are my poison! I know I'm gonna be afraid to fall asleep, but the characters are like my friends, and the stories are so addictive!

The production, in my opinion, is what carries the stories on this channel. The performances coupled with CTFDN's consistently stellar presentation shows why their productions are in their own category....they're like the New England Patriots of YouTube terror in audio. Very nicely done!
