I have been listening to the Simply Scary Podcast for a while, and by far it is my favorite of all the horror podcasts!

A few days ago I asked in the comments how Otis Jiry was holding up, and got a response from him! It was like Morgan Freeman just responded to my post! It was legendary, and I almost cried, it was so majestic. Otis is really the reason I subscribed. I personally think this channel is made amazing by Mr. Jiry. I saw a comment earlier that said, "you guys are better than cable." This is better than YouTube, better than popcorn, better than adorable kitten videos, better than the legendary Morgan Freeman himself!

I'm a truck driver, and I've been listening to all your stories for 11 hours a day, every day, for the past week. I always drive at night and your stories and great narration have made my travels through dark spooky deserts, forests and small towns in the middle of nowhere across the country much more interesting.! Your channel is gold! Thank you and keep up the great work!

I have been a fan of radio plays for many years, starting with Radio Mystery Theater, The Shadows, Lights Out, etc. I found your stories on YouTube around a month ago. I just fell in love with all your readings! You all have brought back a wonderful time in radio that had been lost. Listening to Mr. Jiry, Mr. Cornett, and Mr. Danielson is extremely wonderful; it brings out so many feelings! Creepy, wow, OMG! What great stories! So I haven't been watching your videos for two weeks because my phone was getting fixed and I also got it taken away. I just happened to accidentally find this channel, but damn is it a "happy" accident. Your stories don't send chills down my spine or a rush of endorphins to the brain like Mr. Creepypasta's stories, but your voice and the depth and visual-detailing prowess from your words is just pure otherworldly, far better than any channel I've seen. Like someone already stated, you're more so a psychological style of horror, one that gets me thinking. Love this channel, so you sir have +1 subscriber!

Lately I've noticed quite a few comments on your videos about how you help your listeners, so I thought I'd leave my own. It's not particularly poignant - I work a lot of solitary late-night overtime (in a cavernous, empty building). It gets pretty lonely, and you've kept me company through all of my projects in the last few years. I know you're doing this for free right now, yet still putting an enormous amount of effort into it (more than some put into their paying jobs) and that means a great deal to me and the rest of your fans. And we're all sure you WILL make a living of it soon. You're fantastic, and you're getting better by the day.  

I recommended your channel to some of my friends and they subscribed, too. We are having a lot of fun listening to your creepy stories. You are really good and you deserve more subscribers.

I am a regular listener of Chilling Tales For Dark Nights and I love it. Your stories are nice and scary and your narrators are some of the best I've heard.

We got rid of cable, and I used to read a lot but with seizure meds I'm always blurring my vision. Being able to listen to you means I can still have the stories! It's become a nightly ritual for me!
