Me and my wife listen to these every night before bed. I can honestly say that without y'all we wouldn't be able to sleep so good.

When I first met my girlfriend, who is as into scary stories as much as I am, one of the first things I showed her was Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, and we now go to sleep to the many stories they've featured.

Wonderful stories, excellent narrations! I'm having fun drawing some of the monsters from your stories!

I absolutely adore the quality of the CTFDN channel. All the little background noises, from the chatting, and the crackling fire, to the clanking of the plates and the eerie music. Thank you for all the great videos!

I just happened to accidentally find this channel, but damn is it a "happy" accident. Your stories don't send chills down my spine or a rush of endorphins to the brain like Mr. Creepypasta's stories, but your voice and the depth and visual-detailing prowess from your words is just pure otherworldly, far better than any channel I've seen. Like someone already stated, you're more so a psychological style of horror, one that gets me thinking. Love this channel, so you sir have +1 subscriber!

I just want to let you know how much I admire your narrations, and how oddly enough calming they are to me. I have small-cell lung cancer, and I partly credit you with helping me cope with it. Through all the nights when I hurt so badly that I wanted to die, or when chemo made me so sick I felt like I couldn't go on, I would listen to your narrations, and somehow it calmed me enough to face another day. Thank you. You do good things.

Compared to other popular horror narrators out there, CTFDN reads much more mature and developed stories. They have a great element of suspense and fear that leaves you thinking at the end of the story, analyzing the whole thing. On top of that they have a crew of some of the best horror narrators out there, and it's not just one person reading in the same voice over and over again. They have famous guest narrators and a multitude of great accents, both adding something different, changing it up. One of my favorite things about them is that they interact with the fans, not a lot of people do that. Some of the others are good, but I don't think they're even in the same league as this amazing group of people.

Excellent work - can only expect greatness from this channel! You guys are my favorites and I know I mention it a lot, but you literally make it worth getting up on a morning sometimes, and I can't just play that off as if it doesn't mean anything. I'm inspired by this channel, by you people, and knowing that a bunch of ordinary - albeit, totally nice, interesting and individual - people can turn something as typical as reading stories and make it into something as spectacular as this. Thanks for all the work you put into this channel, guys. Truly. Thanks so much for making my days a little brighter!

Just found your YouTube channel and website today and, man, I must say that it is definitely one of the best I've come across. The dramatic sound effects that you add into these stories at certain times add so much more depth and immersion to the narration than any of the other creepypasta channels I'm subscribed to.

I am listening to CTFDN in bed, in the dark quietness, hours after discovering my uncle is dead. The last few years have seen us nearly homeless 3 times with our little boys, me developing horrid, potentially fatal infections and subsequent illness after, my self employment terminated, my possible insolvency, my father having a massive stroke and becoming blind in one eye, multiple deaths, and many many other things... they have been the hardest time of my entire life, including my house fire years ago. This place is one of the things that has been keeping me going, truly. I can't say how helpful this has been. Thank you. Keep it up, folks, you are awesome!
